For more than 35 years, our volunteers have planted trees, watched over wildlife and helped neighbors live more lightly on the earth. Every gift from the US keeps that work growing.

Most of our work happens in the Charotar region of Gujarat, carried out by local volunteers who know the land. Here is where your gift goes.

We are run by volunteers, so your gift goes to saplings, field equipment and school programs, not overhead.
We are volunteers who care about wild places, clean neighborhoods and the people who live alongside them.
VNC began in 1988 as a small group of friends in Gujarat who wanted to protect the wildlife and green spaces around them. Over three decades, that group has grown into a network of more than 450 members around the world.
Our projects are centered in the Charotar region, where we monitor wildlife, plant trees, cut down on waste and teach young people why it all matters. Our new presence in the USA lets friends and families here take part in that work, wherever they call home.
To inspire people everywhere to protect the environment, live sustainably and stand up for wildlife, together as one global community of volunteers.
